Privacy Policy and Cookies

This privacy policy defines and informs you of how TRAX, as a processing manager, uses and protects the information you transmit when you use TRAX site (‘The Site’).

This privacy policy may be amended or supplemented at any time by TRAX. The date of its update will then be specifically specified. These changes will commit you as soon as they are posted online and we advise you to consult them regularly.

By using the Site, you expressly consent to our privacy policy, which you declare to have become fully aware of.

1. Information collected

TRAX collects personal information about you when you make a purchase on the Site. The information collected is your name, first name, email address and phone number.
In addition, when you place an order on the Site, your bank details are collected for transaction purposes and are processed in an encrypted manner by our payment provider. This banking data is only kept until your order is finalized and is deleted as soon as your full payment is validated.
Finally, we automatically receive and record information from your computer and browser, including your IP address, when you visit the Site.

2. Purpose of information collection

All the information we collect from you is used to:

Run your order,
Contact you by email or phone, especially as part of the management of your orders, or send you important information about the Site, such as changes to our terms and policies,
You will be informed about products, programs, services and promotions that may be of interest to you, subject to your prior authorisation,
Improve the performance of our Site,
Personalize your experience on the Site and meet your individual needs

This treatment is necessary to carry out our contractual obligations and is based on our legitimate interest in improving our services and understanding the expectations of users of the Site.

3. Shelf life

TRAX only retains personal data for the time required for the operations for which it was collected.
In particular:
Customer data, i.e. people who have made a purchase on the Site, is retained for order and customer relationship tracking for up to three years from the time of the relevant ordering.
Prospect data, i.e. people who created an account on the Site without making a purchase, are kept for two years from collection or last connection to the Prospect Site.
Information stored in the user terminal (cookies) or any other items used to identify users and allow users to trace is kept for 12 months.

It is recalled that bank data collected for transaction purposes is not kept beyond the completion of your order.

4. Confidentiality

TRAX is the sole owner of the information collected on the Site. Your personal information will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to another company for commercial purposes without your consent.

On the other hand, this data may be entrusted to subcontractors for the proper execution of orders placed or to third parties responsible for the management and/or operation of the Site, who are under no circumstances authorized to use them for purposes outside the strict scope of their mission or to sell, exchange or transfer your data to third parties.

Your data can also be shared with third parties, only within the permitted limits (a) under applicable laws, (b) to comply with legal procedures, (c) to respond to requests from government and public authorities even when they are located outside your country of residence, (d) to ensure compliance with our terms and conditions of sale and use, (e) to protect our rights and interests as well as those of other people or users of the Site.

Your non-nominal data, i.e. not allowing your identification, may eventually be provided to third parties for purposes such as statistics, marketing or advertising.

5. Information protection

We implement a variety of security measures to keep your personal information secure. We use state-of-the-art encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online. We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need to do specific work (for example, billing or customer service) have access to personal personal information.

We ensure that any provider or subcontractor that we may use in the collection and processing of the data you provide provides us with adequate guarantees of privacy, use and data protection.

Computers and servers used to store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

6. Right of access, rectification and opposition

You have the right to access, limit, correct, erase and object to the use of your personal data transmitted to the Site.

7. Cookie Use Policy

When you log in to the Site, TRAX will be able to install a cookie on your terminal’s hard drive to ensure smooth and optimal navigation on the Site. “Cookies” (also known as “connection cookies”) allow us to recognize your computer, tablet or mobile for the purpose of customizing the services we offer you through the Site.

To let you know, a blindfold appears at the bottom of your screen when you connect to the Site. You can refuse to deposit cookies on your device at any time by setting up your internet browser.
